The Sara Flex wipeable standing sling in conjunction with the lift enables a single caregiver to assist a patient or resident from a seated to a standing position, in one natural movement. Completely wipeable with no stitching, it can be wiped between patients or residents. The sling design helps to reduce the cross-contamination risks associated with shared patient handling devices with no laundering requirement.

Design Benefits of This Sling:

• Completely wipeable: avoid the laundry process, i.e. no lost or missing slings, the sling is always available. The body, the straps and attachment points of the sling are made of non-porous material and hence completely wipeable.
• Welded seams: no stitching on the seams of the sling is designed to reduce potential of fluid ingress and contamination of the sling.
• Smooth patient contact surface: The inside of the sling in contact with the patient, is free from seams, straps and other components, designed to create a smooth surface towards the patient’s body.
• The belt is fixed to the sling: the belt and sling are attached to prevent the two being separated and the belt from being lost.
• Colour-coded sizes: all slings are size colour-coded for ease when choosing the right sling. The dual clips on the attachment strap make it easy to adjust the strap length to ensure the right fit and the anti-slip fabric in contact with the back of the patient/resident helps to keep the sling in the right position.
