The Apollo Pro Gel Cushion has been developed for use with patients at high risk of developing pressure injuries. The cushion is suitable for use in a range of environments including hospitals, aged care as well as in the home. It’s design makes it great for wheelchairs too.
The Apollo Pro Gel cushion is comprised of the most sophisticated polyurethane gel coupled with a highly resilient foam base, which are moulded and bonded together, achieving better pressure re-distribution. The cooling anatomically shaped gel surface aids to reduce the skin surface temperature, improve positioning and stability, enhance postural management, and offer high levels of comfort.
The cover is waterproof and vapour permeable, also impregnated with acti-fresh biocide to help prevent the build-up of bacteria. Anti-slip cover base surface helps to prevent slippage from the chair.
