Static Non-Powered Cushions
Targeted Use: Users at lower levels of pressure injury risk and/or those with superficial pressure injuries. Seated patients with limited mobility should have a pressure redistributing seat cushion.
Dynamic Powered Cushions
Targeted Use: Users at varying levels of pressure injury risk, including those with existing pressure injuries. As limited sit time is not always feasible, when patients cannot reposition or develop a pressure injury on their existing cushion, an active cushion may be beneficial.
