Apollo Solacium 1 Mattress System
The Solacium 1 Air Mattress consists of 29 dual cells (58 in total) The cell configuration is of 29 figure of 8 cells, the top half of the cell alternates, whilst the bottom half, remains inflated at all times. This ensures maximum Pressure Relief, combined with maximum comfort for the user, which in most cases is shown to improve sleep patterns. The Hera pump in combination with Solacium 1 provides both alternating air and continuous low pressure therapies.
The Solacium 1 design makes this an ideal mattress system for Aged Care environments where comfort and versatility are major considerations.
Use the Solacium 1 mattress system as a step up from hybrid mattress therapy. The alternating cells will provide pressure relief to areas which are prone to developing or have current pressure injuries. The alternating therapy may help improve blood flow to areas susceptible to the effects of pressure. Using the Hera pump the CLP (Continuous Low Pressure) function will provide comfort and maintain an ideal surface for the prevention of pressure injuries in patients with limited mobility.
The Hera pump is also available for use with the Apollo Morpheus Air and Apollo Morpheus Air Zero Hybrid Mattress Systems.
