The Morpheus AIR Hybrid system was designed for High to ‘Very High Risk’ patients. The mattress also boasts static and dynamic use and an easy-to-use pump that is both quiet and efficient, reducing complex training.
With high levels of comfort offered and requiring no power unit/pump to operate the system, it is ideal for community and palliative care settings. In addition, the clinical benefits and ease of use make it suitable for an acute environment.
Incorporating 10 air and foam filled cells, an innovative valve system allows Reactive Air to flow through the system. This allows Reactive Air to displace and adjust to patient body weight and movement. It is equipped with a visco-elastic foam top layer.
The ‘Extreme Strikethrough Resistant Cover’ is made from a highly chemically resistant polyurethane polymer. This makes it much more resistant to abrasion and damage than other products on the market.
The cover material incorporates all the key features required. It is multi-stretch, vapour permeable, water resistant with high frequency welded seams, reducing the opportunity for dust accumulation and liquid ingress.

- The mattress cover can be wipe down or completely removed and laundered up to 95°C to aid decontamination protocols
