The Multi C-air Healthcare Chair can be used in any health environment or for home care and is designed to blend into the décor.

The Tilt in Space (TIS) mechanisms make this chair ideal for clients with changing and deteriorating neurological conditions and those who require assisted movement to reduce the problems of skin breakdown. They allow for multi positioning of the legs to reduce oedema and fluid retention, leading to increased comfort. They can also be useful to those with low blood pressure to alter their position to reduce the impact of changes in pressure e.g. postural hypertension.

The Multi C-air Multi C-air Healthcare Chair is ideal for clients who require pressure and postural management whilst wanting to be supported to stand independently, such as:

• Stroke
• Muscular sclerosis
• Frail elderly
• Lower limb oedema

The Multi C-air Multi C-air Healthcare Chair can also be used as part of a 24-hour postural care programme and its features also ensure that a user can be repositioned to allow for optional occupational performance, thus allowing an individual to engage in activities they want to do.

The chair can be used with either a mobile or overhead hoist to support safe moving and handling techniques for carers.

Please note that:

• Depending on the seat cushion built into the chair the seat height may vary slightly from the shown above. Due to the pressure care components used for each cushion, this will compress under the weight distribution of the user
• If you choose the heavy-duty castors the seat height* will be increased by 25.4mm (1″)
• Seat Cushion Weight Limits: Certain pressure management seat cushion options have their own overall weight limits, including the Liquiform and Dynaform, details of which can be found in the Download section. The maximum leg rest weight limit is unaffected by the seat cushion
• Multi C-air Riser Recliner Overall Weight Limits: The Multi C-air Riser Recliner has a weight limit of 127 Kg as standard on the small model. On the medium and large models the maximum user weight is up to 159 Kg. The maximum leg rest weight limit is 57 Kg on all models.
